Ravendra Mishra, the ‘President - HR’ of Garware-Wall Ropes Ltd., carries an extensive experience in the field of HR and Operations. In the three decades of his career, he has served at diverse leadership positions in the companies of the repute viz. Tata Power, Suzlon Energy and Matix Fertilizer.

During his tenure with Matix Fertilizers and Suzlon Energy, Mr Mishra had designed and implemented HR policies, performance management systems, talent management and incentive programs. In Garware Wall Ropes Ltd. ,Mr Mishra serves as a backbone in developing the company’s capability to enhance overall organizational effectiveness and also supports the strategic priorities of the business.

Mr Mishra, a transformational leader, specializes in Strategic HR and Leadership Development. He underwent GMP at ISB, Hyderabad on “Linking HR with Business Strategy “by Richard W. Beatty, University of Michigan. He is a certified in Hogan, NLP, Caliper Accredited practitioner and Balanced Scorecard professional. At international level he has two feathers to his cap - “Best Global HR Leader - 2014” and “HR Super Achiever Award - 2015” by WHRD Congress. Apart from that, he directs and facilitates strategic workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession planning, change management, performance management and employee relations. He has also worked in the area of emotional intelligence and imparts coaching to senior executives. He has also been invited by various premier B-schools to connect with the youth through experience sharing and thought provoking discussion. Currently, his areas of interest are people assessment & development and Strategic HRM.

An engineer turned HR professional, Mr. Mishra holds his M Tech from IIT Bombay in Electrical Engineering.
